1. PERIOD: Contest begins at 12 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Tuesday, September 23, 2015 and ends at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Saturday, December 12, 2015 (the "Contest Period").
2. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to all currently enrolled Transylvania University students, at least 18 years old at time of entry. Board members or executive officers of the Transylvania University, employees of the Transylvania University Athletic Department and any subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, advertising and promotional agencies of the Transylvania University Athletic Department, or the immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling, or grandparent) and/or household members of any persons referenced in this paragraph are ineligible to participate.
To ensure compliance with NCAA rules, neither contest winners nor their guests may be a "prospective student-athlete" as defined by NCAA rules.
3. TO ENTER: Limit one (1) entry per person
Download the Crimson Crazies Reward mobile application on your iphone or android device. Register to be eligible for prizes by completing your mobile application profile. Profile must be complete to be eligible for prizes.
4. SELECTION OF WINNER(S): Winners will be determined throughout the contest period by their individual point total. Students will be able to use the points they earn by attending various events to redeem prizes in the Prize Store. Students who reach the 50 point threshold will be placed in a raffle. Where applicable, Winners will be notified by phone or e-mail. To be eligible to receive a Prize, Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and award of prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Prior to receiving Prize, Winners will be required to provide tax identification number and other information reasonably necessary to enable Sponsor to fulfill any tax reporting requirements and confirm in writing in a form reasonably required by Sponsor that Winner and/or Winner's guests meet the eligibility requirements of section 2, above. If a Winner cannot be contacted, or fails to provide the information referred to above or provide other information that may be required by law within the required time period, Winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the Prize. In the event that a Winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award a Grand Prize to an alternate Winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotional Period.
5. POINT ACCUMULATION: Only contest events of Transylvania University recognized Athletic Programs are point eligible.
6. PRIZE(S): Eligible students will be able to redeem prizes in the Prize Store based on the number of points that they earn. All prizes will be based on availability, and prizes will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a prize is claimed, the points are set back to zero. An eligible student will decide if they want to claim a prize or if they would prefer to continue to bank points for a different prize. For level five you may claim the hoody and will also be eligible to win the raffle.
The Contest Prizes are as follows:
PRIZE ONE (10 POINTS): Upon reaching ten (10) points on their individual account, registered participant will be able to redeem one (1) water bottle.
PRIZE TWO (20 points): Upon reaching twenty (20) points on their individual account, registered participant will be able to redeem one (1) phone case card holder.
PRIZE THREE (30 points): Upon reaching thirty (30) points on their individual account, registered participant will be able to redeem one (1) Transy Athletic T-shirt.
PRIZE FOUR (40 points): Upon reaching forty (40) points on their individual account, registered participant will be able to redeem one (1) Nike Brasilia Gymsack.
PRIZE LEVEL FIVE (50 points): Upon reaching or exceeding fifty (50) points on their individual account, registered participant will be able to redeem one (1) Transy Grey Hoody in addition to be placed in a raffle for great prizes. These will be announced later this month but will include UK Men’s Basketball Tickets, gift certificate to Malone’s, and more.
Registered participant who reaches any additional 10 points over 50 points will have an additional entry into the raffle.
Official Winner(s) will be responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and fees and all other expenses associated with Prize receipt and/or use that are not expressly included in the Prize description, including but not limited to transportation to and from the event. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of any prizes permitted, except by Transylvania University Athletic Program, who reserves the right to substitute Prize or prize component with cash or another prize of comparable or greater value.
7. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: All Prizes subject to availability. No substitution or cash equivalent of prize permitted, except at sole discretion of Transylvania University Athletic Program. Transylvania University Athletic Program may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Transylvania University Athletic Program may change the number of prizes awarded in its sole discretion. No prize transfers permitted, except at Transylvania University Athletic Program’s discretion. Official Winner is solely responsible for any expenses and any other costs not described as part of the prize. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of Winner(s).
8. PUBLICITY/PRIVACY POLICY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes Winners' consent to Transylvania University Athletic Program to use his/her name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions associated with the event, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration. Such publicity shall be conducted in accordance with all relevant Transylvania University policies.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Transylvania University Athletic Program reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest or the ability of Transylvania University Athletic Program to award any prize as described herein, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prizes from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment, or to cancel the Contest as deemed necessary to respond to the applicable impairment. Transylvania University Athletic Program reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in any manner which violates Transylvania University policy or other applicable laws, rules or regulations. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website, mobile application, or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Transylvania University Athletic Program reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Transylvania University Athletic Program's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
10. RELEASE/LIMITS OF LIABILITY: BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, EACH ENTRANT AND WINNER AGREES TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESSTHE REGENTS OF THE TRANSYLVANIA UNIVERSITY AND THEIR RESPECTIVE BOARD MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIM, CAUSE OF ACTION OF ANY KIND OR OTHER LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURY OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, TO ANY PERSON RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE OR USE OF ANY PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY CONTEST RELATED ACTIVITY OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, AS WELL AS CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY.
11. DISPUTES: Each entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the courts of appropriate jurisdiction in the state of Kentucky; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages (other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses) and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Kentucky, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Kentucky or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Kentucky.
13. WINNER'S LIST: The names of the Official Winners for the raffle will be posted on transysports.com
14. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: Eligible students desiring to claim a prize will come to one of the prize locations with their student identification card and phone. All prizes must be claimed by December 14, 2015.
15. BONUS PRIZES: Select games and promotions will be running throughout the season to allow for eligible students to win prizes at games. Eligible students should keep push notifications on the app to keep up with all promotions.
